(A1) Manage School Announcements (Enhanced)
Create School Announcements (Enhanced)
- Login with an SLS School Admin account.
- Open the left menu and click Administration, followed by Manage School Announcements.
- You will be brought to the Notifications page, with the System Announcement filter applied to the listing under the Created By Me tab.
- Click Add New Announcement, and select School Announcement.
Select the intended recipients from the dropdown list:
- All: to make Announcements to all students and teachers
- All Teachers: to make Announcements to all teachers only
- All Students: to make Announcements to all students only
Form Classes (Year): to make Announcements to students in specific form classes
Note:
When making Announcements to all students, you may also add teachers individually by clicking Add Individual Teachers.
- When making Announcements to Form Classes (Year), you may select the Form Class(es) from the dropdown list and add individual teachers.
- Enter the Announcement Title and Message and select the Start Date and Start Time.
- Click Create and your Announcement will be made.
Edit School-Wide Announcements
- Login with an SLS School Admin account.
- Open the left menu and click Administration, followed by Manage School Announcements.
- To edit an Announcement, click the Overflow (3-dot icon) on the Announcement card followed by Edit. Alternatively, click the Announcement card, followed by the Overflow (3-dot icon) and select Edit.

You can only make changes to the Title and Message.
Note: You can only make changes to the Start Date and Start Time if the Announcement has not started. The Announcement will expire in 90 days from the start date.
Click Save at the top of the subpage to confirm.
Delete School-Wide Announcements
- Login with an SLS School Admin account.
- Open the left menu and click Administration, followed by Manage School Announcements.
- On the Notifications page, click the Overflow (3-dot icon) on the Announcement card followed by Delete. Alternatively, click the Announcement card, followed by the Overflow (3-dot icon) and select Delete.

- You can also delete the Announcement while editing it. To do so, click the Overflow (3-dot icon) on the Edit Announcement subpage, followed by Delete.
- In the confirmation prompt, click OK.
